D62 – Unconventional Day

DSC00314-01.jpeg┬áTesting what I can do and how I could show a subject I’ve taken before in a different angle/light. I used to follow the principles but they should be at least treated as guidelines rather than set rules as you can break them.

Walked 7+ miles today, I really pushed myself, however, my body wasn’t as physically tired as it normally is after a long walk. Hopefully, that is due to me Getting stronger and my body adapting to longer walks.

It’s a process you simply have to do everyday and keep your head down as when you look up eventually you will see how far you have gotten. If you keep looking you may improve slower or simply stop what you are doing.

Honestly, I’m happy as I start to build my path better thus making my life better. My family’s life is getting better as well as I continue to improve and develop as the man that I truly am.

Dare to be unconventional,

David

D 58 – Change

IMG_20180219_100438-01.jpegChoosing what is important and what isn’t important in the long run. Giving up what isn’t important is challenging, however, it’s worth it if I want to be a better creator and a better man. One thing I’m giving up is naps unless absolutely necessary and giving up certain YouTube channels and focusing on finding my passion. Instead of doing these things I will focus on acting and gather experience to improve in every category.

I am falling in love with the process as it is thought-provoking. Although, when done right you don’t think at all when you are working hard. In the past, overthinking has been a weakness of mine. I’m working on it and I know it can’t be fixed right away but I’m improving every single day.

I love these flowers and how they look without editing. They are beautiful as they bask in the sun on a nice day. Basically, enjoy the simple moments and the simple beauty while it lasts.

D54 – Limit

IMG_20180218_105444.jpgBeen playing with yellow a lot and pushing myself to explore new areas. This is a shot I’ve been exploring and decided to take it early in the day.

Pushed myself and walked 4+ miles in a new area. I was able to take a lot of photos but this one is not one of them. I’m still editing the ones I took today. To truly understand yourself, you have to know your limits and truly challenge yourself. I’m proud to say that I did that today.

Do something that makes you proud,

David

Into the Black to Reach Your Dreams

Sometimes, we have to stay in the dark to reach the light. In light there is darkness and in darkness there is light. Even if your life is in the negative, break it down and see the postive side. Don’t be too hard on yourself, take it a step at a time. My little cousin told me this when I was shooting baskets with him.

The story of this photo is your journey may be long, but it will be so worth it when you reach your goal. Keep going, never let your dreams get out of sight. If you can’t see the light then find a wall and let it guide you as you continue to walk in the right way.
