D13 – Human Nature

Daring myself to get lost in nature and simply breathe and think. Exploring has helped me further understand myself and my crafts. I enjoy being in nature without a care or any pressure to be anywhere. It's a perfect place to slow down and smell the flowers. This photo represents the paths I can take … Continue reading D13 – Human Nature

Shadow of Life

The world is so ugly yet so beautiful. It is remarkable the things we can create but sometimes the artist is more flawed than the work they have created. The world I see is darker than most but it has beautiful light from within. My art should represent that, as I often have forgotten that … Continue reading Shadow of Life

D6: The Challenge of Decisions

Didn't have the best day for the most part but it turned around when I simply decided it had to. I found more pain from inner dialogue than anything physical. It took me a while to come to grips of what I have been doing since the moment I graduated high school. That is allowing … Continue reading D6: The Challenge of Decisions

Goodbye to 2017

This was a decent year for me, I progessed somewhat. However, it is not time for reflection. I am choosing to put 2017 behind me and focus on changing for the better and progessing in my professional and personal life. I watched a video about a 109 year old WWII veteran who inspired me to … Continue reading Goodbye to 2017

Holiday

Enjoy yourself and make sure to take care of your health. Live free and strong. Took these photos before christmas while I was waiting for someone to finish shopping. The photos look chaotic on purpose, to repersent the hectic time known as the holidays. I love the reflective floors of this store. Anyway, I'm working … Continue reading Holiday

Long journey

Went on an 8+ mile walk and had a lot of time to think and take photos. I've made some decisions in my life which will help me finally progress in a positive manner. I am acting on what I want to do and what I don't want to do at the moment but should … Continue reading Long journey

Exploring Life

December 13, 2017 davidleeRobb black and white photography, nature, nature photography

Looking down as I explore

I've been taking a lot of nature photos and exploring different angles. I was taught early on to not do that so much but I have to do things my own way. I am not the biggest fan of sticking to the rules/principles. I would rather approach photography like how Jack Sparrow treats the "rules … Continue reading Looking down as I explore

Beauty of Nature

I often capture subjects on my walks unless I will be late for the bus. Even then I try to at least capture one and then run. These two photos are from those moments. I enjoy experimenting as life is just a giant experiment. To capture more subjects from various angles is the key for me … Continue reading Beauty of Nature

Small Subjects Made Big

Love capturing subjects that people normally ignore. These subjects have more character than is usually avoided due to how it looks or how forgettable a object may be. I often take photos of holes, tennis balls, cards and much more as a way to expand my creativity and my adaptability.
